Wreaths for Veterans

Ordering a Christmas wreath in July seems pretty odd but if you order from the Worchester Wreath Company before the end of July you will receive a 20% discount.  Good way to save money and honor our veterans.

Huh?

You may have heard of the Wreaths Across America program that was started in 1992 by Morrill Worchester.  Mr. Worchester is the founder of the Worchester Wreath Company. Over 400 wreath laying ceremonies occur across America.  If you order the Patriot Pair, a wreath is sent to your home and to a veteran's gravesite.  Since 1992 the Worchester Wreath Company has given approximately 5,000 wreaths to veterans.  Now the program is called Wreath Across America, which gave over 100,000 wreaths to Arlington Cemetery last year.

The Worchester Wreath Company is the only wreath company to manage its own forest.  Trimmings for wreaths are rotated among the trees to allow the tree to remain vigorous and to allow the tips to grow back for future harvests.  There are 4,000 acres in the forest to manage and yet each wreath is made within 24 hours of harvesting the branches.

Located in Maine, the Worchester Wreath Company started in 1971 and is a family owned business.  Besides balsam wreaths, the company makes designer wreaths for every occasion.

When ordering, go to the search engine and type in Patriot Pair.  That will take you to the right spot!

  1. It's such an awesome company to deal with, too! I can personally vouch for the quality of their greenery.

Those of your readers near Vet cemeteries should look into volunteering to help lay the wreaths at Christmas. It's an unbelieveably moving experience.

Thank you, Terri, for helping to get the word out!
