Singing Christmas Carols!

On of the most magical things about Christmas is the music!  Music genres of all kinds have music for Christmas.  Below I have made a list of my favorite Christmas tunes.  I am sure I will be adding to it as the season progresses as I am sure I have forgotten some!

All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey
Christmas Wrappings by The Waitresses
Do They Know It's Christmas Time by Band Aid
Happy Christmas by John Lennon
Santa Baby by Marilyn Monroe
Santa Claus is Coming to Town by the Jackson Five
A Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul McCartney
Rocking Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee
Christmas Baby by Michael Buble
Last Christmas by Wham
Christmas Time is Here by the Charlie Brown Gang
Mary's Boy Child by Harry Belafonte
Winter Wonderland by Elvis
Santa Claus is Coming to Town by Bruce Springsteen

I love the old Christmas hymnal songs as well.  Silent Night, Carol of the Bells, O Holy Night, We Three Kings, Angels We Have Heard on High.

And of course, the Christmas goodies like We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Good King Wenchelas, and The Holly and the Ivy.

I just heard this duet and it made my day!  Watch it to see this surprising duo:

I also love "Mary, did you know?" Love that song.

I have all my Christmas music out and all my Christmas DVD's and old VHS tapes of shows I taped from HGTV when HGTV was good!! LOL!!

I love Christmas music and do play it the year around. It is hard to pick a favorite for me.

I think I have actually got my husband changed from the grinch to loving the holidays. He used to want Christmas tree up the week of Christmas and down the day after. Now it is the total oposite with him. In fact I came home from work yesterday to Christmas snowmen on the kitchen window.

And when shopping the last few weeks he has been known to wander the Christmas isles .

Thank you for stopping by my blog Cozy Christmas Corner and leaving a comment.

I am slowly getting back to blogging after a few rough years.

  4. Hi Terri! I finally found your blog. I have a huge collection of holiday music that I've collected over the years (download most of them from Amazon). I've been playing Christmas music all week.

  5. Seasons Greetings, Terri!
We're Sarah & Andrew. We're a vocal and instrumental duo producing our first Christmas CD, A Panoramic Christmas. Vocal harmonies, fast jazz, and interesting instrument mixes are things we love in the music we listen to. We took those elements and applied them to this CD. It features the steel pan on a mix of holiday favorites that are sure to put you in the Christmas spirit.
